Documenting Your Life by ADB Designs

Men in Top Hats is one of my heritage collections created with a focus on men, and in this collection, the eras when the ubiquitous head covering for men was a top hat. The top hat was a favorite for working class and society men from the early 1800s through the 1930s and is still seen today in very formal settings.

Q116/prompt

Look through your family photos for those of men and scrap about the person shown. Devote a whole page and be sure to include information about the era and how what your ancestor was wearing is revealing to their occupation or social status.

There are many websites that cover historical timelines and can help you understand the world in which your ancestors lived. Including this information on your page will help others to understand as well.

I am happy to share with you a page starter to help you get started, just click on the preview to go to my store and pick it up.

Here are the previews to this large collection and layouts from my Creative Team to help inspire you as you create your own pages.
