Scrapping Without Photos by Karen Schulz

Scrapping Without Photos
By Karen Schulz of Karen Schulz Designs

Not always, when events happen in our lives, are we able to stop and document them with a photo. Take the time that a coyote attacked my dog. That was a frightening experience for me and my dog experienced subsequent trauma and injury. I didn’t have a camera with me, and even if I had, I wouldn’t taken the time to snap a photo just so I could have one on a scrapbook page.

Once we were safely in the house, however, I did want to document what happened. I recorded all of the details and created a scrapbook page with journaling and a few elements.

This event happened in 1992, 28 years ago. Over the years, our memories fade. If I hadn’t written this down, without a doubt, I wouldn’t have remembered all of the details.

Do you have events in your life that need to be recorded, even though you don’t have a photograph of them happening?

Don’t worry if you don’t have photos! Just tell the story!

In my shop, you will find my “This is Me” series, which is a set of scrapbook collections designed for each month of the year, with the intent of helping you tell your stories - with or without photos.

Purchase each This is Me Pack for just $5 each through October 22nd and tell your stories!
