Hey y'all! I'm Heather of Heather Z Scraps and I'm so excited to be Featured Designer! I started my path down the "digi-scrap road" in the late winter/early spring of 2013. In late 2012 my sister died suddenly and as a way of coping with her death I started teaching myself how to use Photoshop. I had had Photoshop on my laptop for several years, but never knew how to use it aside from cropping a photo or fixing the red eye. Between a friend giving me some pointers and YouTube videos, I learned relatively quickly how to do the basics. From there, I went on to learn more and more, took a few free classes that were being offered at the time, and learned even more. This was just designing layouts, nothing more. I joined several Creative Teams ... at one point I was on *10* CTs at the same time! I knew I wanted to try designing as a hobby AND as a job, so I took a class on this, as well. From there it's pretty much "history" as they say! Lol I've been designing for just over *5* years now! Wow. how times flies!!
