Designer Tip by PS Digital Memories

Hi my name is Loti Marie Paylor and I am the Designer behind PS Digital Memories. Welcome to my designer tip.

Have you ever got stuck on what to add to your page layout?  In this designer tip I will share a few ideas.

Our lives are filled with memories that shape us as individuals and we capture those moments in the photos that we take. Why not add more than photos to your layouts.  Document your memories in your scrapbook by telling the story of your life to share with family and friends. Go beyond the simple family album or photo book and bring life into your album not anyone's life but yours, your families and friends.  Make a special keepsake to pass on to your kids for a special way to capture those special memories. Use journal cards as a landscape to write special details about the day that is captured in the photo. Scan cards, invitations and announcements to add to your page.

Ideas on what to add to your Memory Book

# 1 Child Hood Memories

As a parent you watch your baby grow from infant to adult and along the way they change so much from likes to dislikes to hobbies and sports, capture those moments and include them in your memory book. What was your child's favorite book or poem? Take a picture of the book or you and your child at story time and Include a line from the book on your scrap page layout. If your layout is your child's sport game include the date, time, weather, the final score, and don't forget about the mascots and cheer.

#2 Childhood Toys

Take a picture of your child's favorite toy and document what age they are and special memories of your child and that toy. It is not always practical to save all of your child's toys but with a photo and a cute little story about your child and that toy it will be a special keepsake memory to share throughout life. Later on when your child is an adult it will be a awesome way to relive memories together or share with your grandchildren about their parents as a child.

#3 Birthdays

Take a picture of the cake, the decorations, invitation and the birthday child and be sure to add a story about the day.

I hope my Designer tip gave you some new ideas

Happy Scrapping
