Scrapping My Everyday with Memory Mosaic

https://www.mymemoriesblog.com/search/label/Scrapping%20My%20Everyday

Hi, my name is Joy.  I am the designer behind, Memory Mosaic here at My Memories.  Welcome to my Blog Series “Scrapping my Everyday”.  I find that it is fairly easy to make special pages for all those big, special events in our lives, but when it comes to making a page about our everyday life, or the “mundane” it becomes a bit trickier.

This Month there is a lot going on here in our house. Schools are on Fall Break in our area, then Columbus Day, and Canadian Thanksgiving, ending with Halloween.  My family is also celebrating my youngest daughter’s birthday, my husband is traveling out of the country and we have a new job orientation week… So there are plenty of “special events” to scrap, but what about the simple everyday activities.

Right now we have 3 of our Grand Children visiting, and I decided to scrap some photos I took of them just playing and having fun, around here.  We did go to an orchard yesterday, and are planning a trip to the aquarium, and I will scrap those too, but what could be simpler and more “everyday” than catching children, just playing.

This first layout I made using my brand new Halloween Combo Pack.  This layout goes to show you, that you can use a lot of kits, even themed kits to make other layouts that have nothing to do with that particular holiday or theme.  I snapped some photos this morning, when I caught my son helping his nephew build a marble run.

This second layout I made using my new, Happy Fall Bundle.  These photos, I snapped yesterday, when I went to check on the kids, and found them reading, and then later building with some blocks.

I am hosting 2 challenges on the My Memories Forum.  The first challenge is "Scrapping My Everyday".

I want to challenge you to be inspired to make a layout highlighting some of those everyday things.  If you make a layout and post it in the challenge thread by Oct 31, I will send you a link for this Quick Page.

The 2nd challenge, starts Oct. 16,  and is my monthly “Sketch Challenge”.  Each month I supply you with a sketch for an idea, and challenge you to scrap about a particular theme.  I also put the links for my blog, where you can grab my Monthly Blog Train Freebie along with all the links for the rest of this month’s train.

Hope to see your beautiful layouts in my challenge threads, in the My Memories Forum.
