What is your favorite thing to do to relax? I love doing needlework projects, either needle point or cross stitch. I am also learning how to knit from my Mom. What is your favorite season? Winter. Part of that involved climbing up a 20 foot pole and walking across a rope bridge to another pole. I never thought I could have done it, but I did it! If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Chips and hot sauce. I can never resist the scent of fresh tortilla chips and spicy hot sauce. Let’s welcome Aimee Harrison as this week’s Featured Designer! Q&A With The Designer: Aimee Harrison Where do you call home? I live in Wyoming, a suburb of Grand Rapids, here in Michigan. I love Michigan and I grew up in Wyoming about 3 blocks from where I currently live with my life partner, Tyler - who lived in this house growing up. We share a lot of memories and that makes being together a lot of fun. Who is your Hero? My parents equally are my heroes. I was blessed to have two people who loved me completely and were able to show that to me growing up. They were the best people I knew and I miss them every day. They taught me to be who I am and I'm proud of that. What is your favorite Holiday? My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love the cozy feeling I get watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade as well as the way I can do whatever I want all day. In the past I have spent the day cooking and playing video games and even though I no longer do the cooking (Tyler does) I still do what I would like and enjoy for the day. He quite spoils me. What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is actually a mini series from the BBC called Pride and Prejudice. It was the 1995 one with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. I love them together and I fell in love with Mr. Darcy. Anything by Jane Austin is my favorite with Persuasion from 1995 coming in second. Perhaps first. Depends on my mood. What is your favorite thing to do to relax? I like to read my fan fiction after I finish working for the day. I recently discovered how to put my stories into my Kindle and make my own covers for them and I've been spending time making a few covers for them every day. It is nice to do something just for me.
