Q&A With The Designer: ScrapChat Designs
What first got you into scrapbooking or memory keeping?
Documenting
high school. My very first scrapbook even included decorations from the
flowers I got when I had my tonsils out freshman year. Apparently, I
was committed to documenting everything early on. 😄
Are you more creative in the morning or late at night?
Late night, for sure! I can get on a roll and suddenly realize it’s 1 a.m.
What’s something you’re currently working on improving in your scrapbooking?
Journaling
and documentation. I often tell myself I’ll look up dates or add
details later… and then I don’t. Looking back, I really wish some of my
older layouts had more of the story written down.
Are you more of a coffee or tea person?
Coffee, all day, any time, at home. But if I’m out somewhere fancy, I’m ordering a chai tea.
What’s something on your bucket list that you’ve checked off?
Climbing
Xunantunich, an ancient Maya ruin, in 2019. It was exciting on the way
up and absolutely terrifying on the way back down. The Maya clearly did
not design with handrails in mind. 😅
To finish off we would love to share some of her favorite layouts:
