🍂 Falling in Love – October Use It All Challenge
Do you ever have one of those stressful days where you think to yourself, I NEED TO CREATE… but you’re short on time and pulled in a dozen directions? Today was one of those days for me.
I grabbed the October Use It All Mini and one of my favorite fall photos, and just started playing. Instead of picking papers one by one, I hit Command A (Control A on PC) to select all four papers and opened them together in Photoshop. No overthinking—just placing them into my layout. Then I repeated the process with the elements, dragging them in as they opened.
It turned out to be the perfect quick stress-reliever… and I love the result. This tree in our backyard never fails to put on a show. 🍁
Design tip: A participant in the UIA challenge colored the date she needed on the date strip. I copied the number I needed, added a thin stroke in the same color as my numbers, and it created the perfect subtle detail. 👌
