Scrapping from A to Z with Kathryn Estry

Hi!  I'm Kathryn, and I design for My Memories.  I am now in my sixth round of my scrap series, From A to Z.

First let me remind you to post your layouts in my matching Challenge Thread, Scrapping with Kathryn from A to Z. Everyone who posts a layout in this month's thread will receive from me the prize I have posted with this month's challenge.  To make it extra sweet, your layout can be about anything I've shown you in ANY of my A to Z challenges!

S is for ...

Semi-Solids!

Solid papers are a go-to in scrapbooking.  Almost every layout I make has a combination of pattern papers and semi-solids along with the photos and elements of course.  Instead of solids, I create what I call "semi-solids" to coordinate with my page kits.  They're not totally solid but have slight variations for interest, and you can use them wherever you'd otherwise use solid papers.

I have over 150 sets of semi-solids in my store, and you can see them all HERE.  If you look at the extra images for these sets, you can see the slight variations in each.  In most of my newer packs, the papers are all individually designed so you have a large number of totally different semi-solids to coordinate with the papers in the page kits.

Here is one of my favorite sets of semi-solids along with the matching page kit and sample layouts.  It's called A Cuppa Love.  If you look closely at the semi-solids,  you'll see all sorts of interesting patterns.

A big thank you to my wonderful Creative Team for the use of their amazing pages!

Remember to head over to my A to Z Challenge, check out the prize for this month, and post a layout that you love where you've used semi-solids.  We'd love to see it!
