What is the biggest life lesson you have learned? It's all just stuff.  You can't take it with you, owning it will not bring someone back and losing it is part of life.  Our house flooded and my oldest daughter died in four months in 2019.  I realized after agonizing over Sami's things.  I kept saying I should have kept this or I should have kept that.  I came to realize after a long process that it's all just stuff.  People, relationships are more important than stuff.   Documentation and photos are the best things to have when someone is gone compared to their favorite sweatshirt. What movie could you quote best? Any of the Harry Potter books more than the movies.  I do not sit still long enough to watch an entire movie.  I will, however, listen to an audible book while I design, do housework or drive.  I think I've listened to all seven Harry Potter books at least 20 times.    What is the farthest you have travel from home? What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done? These two questions definitely go together for me.  We went to Belize in 2018 while on a cruise.  We climbed to the top of a very high ruin.  Well worth the trip and concurring my extreme fear of heights.  What’s your favorite family tradition? Age order photos.  It's a non-written rule in our family.  Let me explain.    Christmas morning the first photo was in front of the tree before any presents.  My kids would sit oldest to youngest in front of the tree.   It became quite a joke.  I was looking at photos of a trip we took to my son's basic training family weekend in 2017.  Three of the kids and Jason's girlfriend were in the photo - in age order.  Madison had taken her place between Jason and Sami.  Exactly where her age fell.  At my oldest son's wedding the photos were like that as well. Where do you call home? I've lived in Ohio all of my 59 years of life.   I was born in northeastern Ohio.   At 7, I moved to northwestern Ohio.  In 2006, my family and I moved to southwestern Ohio.   In 2021, I moved about 20 minutes north of Cincinnati.  Although my boyfriend and I have talked about moving to other states, in the end, we settled here.  After his retirement might be a different story, but for now I'm an Ohioan.   To finish off we would love to share some of ScrapChat Designs’ favorite layouts:
