Over the next few months I'd love to dive into color theory a bit. We will be taking a look at the different color families and what they mean.
For February we are starting with Red, which is considered a warm color. Red is a bold color that can bring to mind many different things - love, war, fire, passion, anger. The mood and feeling that it can evoke vary from person to person!
In other parts of the world the color means something entirely different than what we in the western world tend to associate it with. In China it a happy color that signifies prosperity and wealth. In South Africa it is the color of mourning.
February is definitely a month that bold waves the red flag. From Heart Health month to Cupid's Valentines Day we see red everywhere we look!
