Scrapping My Everyday with Memory Mosaic

Hi, my name is Joy. I am the designer behind, Memory Mosaic here at My Memories. Welcome to my Blog Series “Scrapping my Everyday”. I find that it is fairly easy to make special pages for all those big, special events in our lives, but when it comes to making a page about our everyday life, or the “mundane” it becomes a bit trickier.

I hope you and yours are staying healthy. We have certainly found ourselves living in strange times. I have tried to appreciate the slower pace of life, and extra time to get things done that I normally just don’t have. Yet at the same time there are certainly worries… We are all wanting to stay healthy. There are the worries of missed work and school. Then there has been the separation from family and friends. We have had to learn new ways to stay connected. I have been thankful that things in our area are starting to open back up little by little. We have also had a lot of beautiful weather, and have enjoyed just being outdoors a lot.

This month I would like to highlight “Ladybug Hugs” which is a collaboration kit I made with my sweet friend Tammy from Polka Dot Chicks. You can find the whole collection in my store.
This kit is perfect for scrapping all those fun outdoor “everyday” moments.

The following layouts were made by some of my very talented CT members, using my new kit and highlighting some everyday activities, or precious candid shots of their grandkids, and they have turned some “ordinary” photos into a precious memory.

I host 2 challenges on the My Memories Forum, every month. The first challenge is Scrapping My Every Day. I want to challenge you to be inspired to make a layout highlighting some of those everyday things. If you make a layout and post it in the challenge thread by July 31, I will send you a link for this cute Frame Cluster I made using Ladybug Hugs.

The 2nd challenge, starts on the 16th, and is my monthly “Sketch Challenge”. Each month I supply you with a sketch for an idea, and challenge you to scrap about a particular theme. I also put the links for my blog, where you can grab my Monthly Blog Train Freebie along with all the links for the rest of this month’s train.

You can find both challenges here: https://forums.mymemories.com/?forum=458743

Hope to see your beautiful layouts in my challenge threads, in the My Memories Forum.
