Hi! My name is Martina and I am a designer behind Designs by Tincika. Tincika is my nickname from childhood. I come from a large family and my nickname is still used, even I am over 40 :-).
I live in a small village in the countryside in Slovakia with my husband and two daughters, Lenka (14y) and Elena (12y). But this year is the last of the three we spend in Belgium for my husband's job. I love everything about farming, gardening, and nature and I can't wait to be back home.
In my designer's work I am focused on shapes. I'm a big fun of shapes. They are so versatile! Thousands of designs can be made from a single shape and can always be color or pattern matched to the current layout. I design them in SVG files, so you can freely enlarge them without destroying crisp edges and they are so easy to use in MMS software.
Usually, the largest side of my shapes is 4 inches long, but as I mentioned you can make a 12-inch big shape of them without losing quality for printing.
My favorite shapes are washi tape templates, fancy photo corners with hearts, doilies, photo frame overlays, and tabs. But actually I love them all. If you don't have experience with using shapes in your scrapbooking software, this is the perfect time to try. I have a free kit "Try new shapes" with everything you need (shapes and patterned papers).
