Scrapping My Everyday with Memory Mosaic

https://www.mymemoriesblog.com/search/label/Scrapping%20My%20Everyday

Hi, my name is Joy.  I am the designer behind, Memory Mosaic here at My Memories.  Welcome to my Blog Series “Scrapping my Everyday”.  I find that it is fairly easy to make special pages for all those big, special events in our lives, but when it comes to making a page about our everyday life, or the “mundane” it becomes a bit trickier.

This month we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day and I am sure there will be a lot of fun photos of banquets, parties and special Valentine Celebrations, with friends or just with your own family.  There are also tons of kits out there with a Valentine’s theme.  I thought it would be fun, to challenge myself, and in turn,  you, to use a Valentine Themed kit, to scrap some everyday
Photos.

I was searching through some photo files, and came across these great photos taken about 7 years ago, (I don’t even know how that is possible for that much time to have gone by already!) They are photos that were taken right after Christmas when my grandkids were visiting… they aren’t photos of anything particularly special… one of my grandson’s is eating breakfast, one is playing on a tablet with my youngest son, and 2 of them are just sitting with my older son.  Then there is one of me holding my then, youngest Grandson.  I used my brand new kit, Love More, to make this page.  The journaling reads, “Hanging out at Nana and Papa’s House.  January, 2013.

This 2nd layout was made by one of my CT members.  It is just a photo of them sitting on park bench.  She used my Love You Combo.

I  host 2 challenges on the My Memories Forum, every month.  The first challenge is Scrapping My Every Day.  I want to challenge you to be inspired to make a layout highlighting some of those everyday things.  If you make a layout and post it in the challenge thread by February 29, I will send you a link for this Paper Pack.

The 2nd challenge, starts on the 16th,  and is my monthly “Sketch Challenge”.  Each month I supply you with a sketch for an idea, and challenge you to scrap about a particular theme.  I also put the links for my blog, where you can grab my Monthly Blog Train Freebie along with all the links for the rest of this month’s train.
You can find both challenges here: https://forums.mymemories.com/?forum=458743

Hope to see your beautiful layouts in my challenge threads, in the My Memories Forum.
