Meet Featured Designer Elizabeth from Elizabeth's Market Cross!

Hi! I’m Elizabeth! I grew up in Florida and now live in Texas, but I feel like I belong in England (and my DNA results agree). My store name – Market Cross – comes from the historical structures that served as trading markers, usually in a town centre. People would buy and sell wares at the designated market cross – such as the ‘Poultry Cross’ or the ‘Butter Cross’ – you get the idea!

This is the Poultry Cross in Salisbury –

Be sure and check out Mixed Bag at the Market Cross in the My Memories forum for my monthly free word art challenge, and the other odd challenge mixed in occasionally!

I’ll always be a dog lover, but my favorite non-pet animals are crocodilians and tapirs. The television show I won’t miss is Survivor, and I am passionate about organizing! I’ve started a blog called Clutter Croc (cluttercroc.com) so check that out if you want to declutter and organize with me! Don’t worry – I’m not giving up scrapbook designing – art is my first love. But you can find some free printables over on my organizing blog which you might like!

One of my favorite design elements would be edge overlays; I use them on most of my layouts. You can stack them, recolor them, reverse or flip them – so many options! I have plenty to choose from in my shop, but I really love the ones called Gold Rush because the metallic shine really stands out. However, I wanted to give you a new never-before-in-store set as a gift – so be sure and grab the set of five 12 x 12 edge overlays known as Copper Strike! The rest of the pieces in the sample layout come from the kit Dreamer.

My Facebook page will also have other freebies such as the monthly blog train: https://www.facebook.com/ElizabethsMarketCross/

See my kits on Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/mymemories/elizabeths-market-cross-mymemoriescom/

And during my Featured Designer listing, everything in my store will be 33% off, so check that out here: https://mymemories.com/store/designers/Elizabeth's_Market_Cross
