Documenting your life with ADB Designs

The snow is piling up outside. The trees are covered with a thick and heavy white blanket. The air sparkles with shards of watery glass.  It is BEAUTIFUL outside my window and the perfect scene for a stunning wedding.

Q65

Sometimes the weather is as much of a participant in an event as are the people who attend.  Think back to a special time and how the weather played a role in the activities of the day. What was the weather like for your wedding? For you parents wedding? For that special anniversary or event?

My wedding was at the end of September.  In many places, that is NOT winter, however, in Wyoming it sometimes is.  In 1984 it was.  There was a blizzard the day before the wedding and attendees arriving by air were flying into Denver and then driving north to Cheyenne in "white-out" conditions. Thankfully everyone arrived safely.  The church was beautiful and after the ceremony, Jim & I walked to the reception a block away in a "winter wonderland", much like the one outside my window right now.

My WINTER WEDDING collection is on retiring clearance right now. 70% off and going into the vault in Feb.  It is perfect for wedding and special event photos, regardless of the time of year.

My THE VINTAGE ROMANTIC challenge in the MyMemories forum is featuring this collection and I would love to have you post your "special event" layout and earn the posting bonus.  Here is the LINK to the challenge for all the details.

Happy scrapping!
