Meet feature designer Scrapbookcrazy Creations by Robyn!

Robyn, aka Scrapbookcrazy, is a single mom of a son Morgan who is 18 years old and a daughter Phoebe who is 10. Besides scrapbooking Robyn enjoys sewing, knitting, cross-stitching, embroidery, ceramics, painting and taking photos. She began assisting scrapbook designers by joining their creative teams in 2014. She has been on 25 different teams at one time or another. She peaked at 21 teams at the same time, is currently helping 16 different designers. She first began traditional scrapbooking in 1999 and was a Creative Memories consultant for 10 years. She began digital scrapbooking in 2005.  She has been a designer for over a year now. Robyn’s designer name is Scrapbookcrazy Creations by Robyn.
Robyn is a pet person and has always had a dog plus many other pets. She bred Budgies from 2004 until 2013 and was a member of a Bird Breeder’s club. For now she has one cat Ginger a cross between a Russian Blue and Ragdoll, a local tabby, and a dog named Sam, a Kelpie, she rescued from a shelter.
Robyn’s learned how to knit from her grandma when she was 13 years old. Her first project was a scarf in garter stitch. As she started her second project, an Aran jumper (Irish fisherman sweater) with lots of cables, she was told that she would not be able to do it. But her determination won out and she completed a perfect jumper for herself which she still has to this day. She learned to cross stitch and embroider in grammar school. She has won many prizes with her excellent hand work.
Robyn is a well-rounded person. She is a talented soprano who enjoyed choir and school plays. She has enjoyed sports. She was a natural at the high jump and hurdles because of her height. She used to enjoy downhill skiing but there isn’t much snow in Australia so she doesn’t pursue that sport any longer. She has researched four branches of her family history so far and goes as far back as the 1600’s with one line. Beginning before online resources were available she did her research the old fashion way by letters, books, library micro fiche, and conversations with relatives.
Robyn has worked in administration, with computers, and in retail as a manager and cashier. She has sold Avon and Tupperware. She is now involved in scouts and as a parent helper at her daughter’s school. She serves on committees, listens to children read, helps in the craft room, and goes on school excursions. She takes her children camping. They have a tent and a caravan and she likes this less expensive method of traveling.
