Patterned papers by Happy Scrap Art!

Hi, I’m back with a second tip of how to use patterned papers in your layouts without making the page looking to busy.
So in my last tip we used the patterned paper in the background. This time I’ll let you see how to use it on your layout.
It’s all about using parts of the patterned papers, making shapes with them, or even using them in your letters, so you can have a patterned text.
It’s all very easy to do. So you should start with a solid paper for your background or even just a white background. In the My Memories Suite software you can add shapes to your page. You can choose any of the shapes you want. Place them where ever you want. Then you can add the patterned papers to your shapes.

You can see here in this tutorial how to add shapes:

Now you can place your photo on your page and add some elements if you want.

Here are some examples for you, I start with the 2 pages you have already seen in the first tip. I added some shapes on this page.

On this one I added some more shapes and also used made letters with a patterned paper.

I used my kit Blooming Dessert for these layouts. You can find it in my store here

Here are some other examples made with the kits Essentials 2

And with the collection Time Flies
