About Papier Studio
I
was born in Rio de Janeiro and now live in São Paulo. I’ve been married
to Egon for 46 years, and together we’ve built a life full of love,
family, and creativity. After three years apart, my son and his family
are finally coming back from Beijing this September, and my heart is
racing with happiness—especially because I’ll get to hold my 3-year-old
grandson again.
Since
childhood, painting has been my passion, and today I express that love
through mixed media art. I’ve been a digital designer and art teacher
since 2008, when I created a blog full of tips and tricks for digital
scrapbooking.
My creative
world is always inspired by the little things that spark wonder and the
timeless details that carry stories through color, texture, and
imagination. From delicate flourishes to whimsical touches, I love
blending the nostalgic with the playful to create pieces that feel
unique and full of life. Some of my favorite sources of inspiration
include:
-Vintage and Art Nouveau design – flowing spirals and swirling curves
-Old and worn papers – torn edges and folded textures recreated digitally
-Boho shapes and mixed media backgrounds
-Artsy patterned papers with whimsical details
-Painted and non-realistic elements that add depth and surprise
-Flowers – both realistic and painterly
-Artsy and whimsical faces that carry emotion and storytelling
-Painted, artsy butterflies and birds that bring movement and freedom
-Scattered bits, mini dots, and stars that complete the magic
For
me, art is not just about technique—it’s about weaving together
nostalgia, whimsy, and imagination into something that feels both
timeless and alive
