DYL: Snow Birds from Diane, ADB Designs

Not all birds migrate south for the winter. A number of species stay in their home territory through the cold and oft' times snow. The Collection Snow Birds pays homage to these hardy birds that give us some color during the dark winter days.

The color palette is so pretty - strong watercolors of cranberry, spruce and pine green, and neutrals of mist, snowflake and bark. The elements are also so pretty - there are a number of winter birds, lace and ribbons, paper strips, journalers, decorative accents, buttons, and flowers and foliage.

Q&A With The Designer: Scrapbookcrazy Creations

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

I am not a morning person, it takes me ages to be able to function in the morning. At night I have the most energy and focus and when I get involved in something I could stay awake all night.

Where do you call home?

I live on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria Australia. We have lived here for 16 years but I have been holidaying here since I was 2 years old. It is so nice going to sleep with the sound of the waves and to hear fog horns during winter. You guessed it, I live at the beach and have always been within 2 blocks of the beach.

Aside from the necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without?

I could not go a day without nice smooth toilet paper and my Maconna morning coffee.

If you could own ANY animal as a pet, what would it be?

I would love to own either an elephant or a giraffe. However, visiting them at the zoo is the next best thing. One day I hope to see them in their natural environment.

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear is snakes. I loath them, just a picture of one makes my flesh crawl and my heart pound.
