Today we want to introduce you to one of our design team duos who create some of the cutest digital paper packs out there! The Ette's & Company have been with My Memories for quiet a while and it is our pleasure to introduce you to one half of the Ette's today. Here is a little background on Fayette.

I live in Garland, a small town in Northern Utah. I LOVE coming home to our little town after a day in the city! I live here with my Dutch hubby, Kees (pronounced Case). My dad also lives with us. He has Parkinson's Disease and Macular Degeneration (which means he has no central vision), so I get to take care of him and "give back" to him for being such a great dad!

I got into scrapbooking kind of by accident. I worked as a designer in the craft industry for years. I designed original tole painted pieces and published books with patterns for my designs. I've also designed resin &

porcelain figurines, counted cross stitch patterns, clipart cd's and loads of other goodies during my career. My publisher at Provo Craft could see the change in the industry coming, so he invited several of the designers to do

a line of scrapbooking papers and stickers. That was about 15 years ago...and I haven't looked back. I've been creating scrapbooking designs ever since, and have designed more paper scrapbooking designs & layouts than

I can count! I still design for companies in the paper side of the industry, as well as keeping up on my digital designs. The biggest difference between designing now and when I first began is that I used to hand paint everything that I designed, and now I design everything on the computer. I didn't think "computer art" was legit at first. I thought it had to be drawn by hand to be "real art". Lol...I've definitely changed my mind now, and LOVE drawing with my Wacom Intuos 3 tablet!!

I LOVE to travel, read, and work in my gardens. My favorite holiday is Christmas...love how we go out of our way to be more kind & Christlike – I also love getting in touch with people that we lose touch with during the year. My favorite season is spring....love seeing things turn green, tulips in the yard, and being able to work in the garden & enjoy the outdoors after a long, cold Utah winter!
