I'm so happy to be the Featured Designer this week. It gives me a chance to connect better with all of you and to share with you a little bit of my world. For those that don't know me yet, my name is Debbie Reichert. Home is in Superior, WI at the tip of Lake Superior. And yes, it's cold up here :) I choose Snackpackgu as my design name because I loved those cute little pudding snackpack's that I used to pack in the kids' lunches. The 'gu' is what the pudding reminded me off ..... goo. Anyway, it's not a terribly creative name, just a silly one :)
I've been a mom to 4 wonderful kids. My youngest 2 have just graduated from college and are on their way to pursuing their dream jobs. Well hopefully, lol. Two years ago, my beautiful collie, Lassie, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was sorely missed by everyone and I honestly didn't think I'd ever want another dog, let alone a silly puppy, but then I found a stinking cute little Shorkie (half Yorkie, half Shiz tu) who burrowed right into my heart. He was 10 weeks old and a bundle of energy. He's going on a 1 1/2 years now and has relaxed a bit. Last year was interesting though. His favorite thing to do was to put his paws on the toilet paper roll and unwind the entire thing! Oh what fun :( One of these days, I need to make a doggie kit just for him.
